Classic Cast Outfitters

Clint has been fishing Northern Wisconsin’s waters since 1979, and is very well acquainted with the native species of fish here. Since every species of fish are different, he has designed his own fishing rods and tackle which have proven to make a fun day on the water even better! Hand-tied flies round out a full complement of fishing gear for all species of Northern Wisconsin fishes. Clint believes that learning about the sport of fishing, as well as knowledge of the outdoors is all part of a complete outing, so he will focus on teaching as much as fishing. His hope is that you will come back from your outing having more knowledge about your time in the Northwoods, and wanting to enjoy it time and again! For those that wish to learn, Clint will be willing to teach the finer art of fly casting, to help make the most of each outing.

CAUTION: Fly fishing is addicting! Learn at your own risk!

Clint has earned Sports Afield Master Angler’s Awards for fishing excellence, particularly for Smallmouth Bass. Classic Cast Outfitters hits the open waters of Northern Wisconsin in a 2004 Alumacraft Magnum 175CS, which is powered by a 2004 Mercury 115 HP Optimax, Minn Kota directional aids, and seating for up to 4, including your guide.

Organizing Whitetail Deer and Ruffed Grouse hunts, both on public and private property, are also available from Clint, through his Classic Cast Outfitters. Having your own equipment for hunting is requested, but not required. Some of our areas have produced 120-130” 8 point bucks, as well as 140” 10 point bucks. Trail cams have shown a near 140” 8 that is still walking around....somewhere! There are big bucks out there!
